stayed at a lovely guest house with warm and thoughtful hosts. They went the extra mile, offering to drive us around and even did our laundry. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, with free drinks and coffee. Breakfasts were amazing. Melville is a great location with boho vibes. Will definitely return.

Our hosts, Gladys and David, were the most accommodating, thoughtful poeple one could hope for. They went beyond the call of duty, picking us up in the evening after dinners out, making last minute arrangements for a Soweto toru when the one we booked failed to materialize. Breakfasts were high quality, cooked to order and varied for each of the four days we staryed. We would return in a heartbeat.
In particularly hot weather, we missed air conditioning, but were offered a fan which was quite adequate.

They even upgraded our rooms without any extra cost, giving us a luxurious and spacious space to relax in. The owners are amazing human beings that really care for their guest. The Guest house is beautiful with a feeling of home. They spare no detail, in the beautiful rooms with large bathrooms you have all the amenities you will ever need, including a refrigerator stocked daily with water, Juice and sodas. You can also make tea or coffee in your room with real milk and delicious cookies. Breakfast is a delicious feast. The other owners, the doggies are extremely cute and well behaved. You will not resist petting them.
Nothing 5 stars, I can't wait to come back and stay.

We were picked up at the airport by Arum host and brought to the guest house. The premium room had outstanding facilities, including a heated bed, especially beneficial for the cool evenings of late winter, early spring. Hosts assisted with some of our tour arrangements. All in all an outstanding experience at Arum Guest House. Breakfasts were fantastic.

The rooms at the guest house were well-appointed and comfortable, with nice amenities such as snacks provided. The breakfast served was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. The owners were very helpful and accommodating, offering transportation services and helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions.
One aspect that I didn't particularly like was the carpet in the room, it seemed a bit outdated and not as clean as I would have liked. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience.

We felt at home here in the suite. The place is very cozy and it was great to be there while it was snowing outside. We will be back
